Here I'm happy to share with you some of the tools that can support you in approaching childbirth with a sense of deeper connection within and awareness while supported by a wider community of mothers to be and birth keepers.
The Mamamoon School is an online platform where you can continue to practice to prepare for childbirth.

REBOZO: PARTNER PRACTICE FOR PREGNANCY, BIRTH AND POSTPARTUM
FROM THE SECOND TRIMESTER
The use of the Rebozo a traditional Mexican woven scarf, is skilfully and respectfully applied in the Netherlands by birth doulas, midwifes and some prenatal educators.
During this workshop you will learn:
bring about relaxation
support your baby into the most optimal position for childbirth
support natural onset and progression of labor

Location: Delight Yoga Prinseneiland (Haarlemmerplein, Amsterdam).
Due to Covid regulations, spots are limited. The investment includes both you and your birth partner.
ONE TO ONE PRENATAL
These sessions are tailored for women that would like to have one-on-one preparation for birth, even if they are not looking for support at birth from a Doula.
The prenatal preparation sessions can be booked at any stage of the pregnancy and can take multiple forms, depending on your needs.
Topics may include:
Support in connecting with your baby and envisioning your birth
Discussing your option and preparing your birth plan
Practical sessions on different stages of labor: optimal positions and comforting measures
Rebozo massage and the use of the rebozo during labor, childbirth and postpartum
Breathing and meditation sessions
Aroma therapy for pregnancy and childbirth
Balancing techniques from Spinning Babies (for more of it, you can find Certified Spinning Babies Parental Educators in Amsterdam)
The sessions last 90 min. Written material can be included.
FROM WEEK 13 onwards
An empowering class to create strength and stamina in body and mind to embrace this transformative time. We move through waves alternating moments of intensity to moments when we turn inward. By moving with your breath in a modified vinyasa flow, you’ll greatly increase your ability to connect with your inner strength in preparation of childbirth.
The class always ends with a restorative asana and a Yoga Nidra script or guided meditation preceded by a few rounds of pranayama to settle the mind.
Classes take place at Delight Yoga De Clerqstraat 66-68 in Amsterdam on:
Wednesdays: 18.15 - 19.30
Saturdays: 12.30 - 13.45
