Ayurveda for Women
A clinical and deeply personalised approach to women's health — rooted in one of the oldest healing traditions in the world
Your body is constantly communicating and Ayurveda has been fluent in translating its language for over five thousand years.
Something has shifted. Or perhaps it has been shifting for a long time and you are only now finding the words for it.
The cycle that has become irregular, painful or simply absent. The fatigue that does not lift no matter how much you rest. The fertility journey that is taking longer than expected. The hormonal reorganisation of perimenopause arriving without warning or preparation. The burnout that has settled so deeply it no longer feels like burnout — it simply feels like you.
Conventional medicine offers management for most of these experiences. Ayurveda offers something different: an understanding of why they are happening — specific to your body, your constitution, your history and your life — and a path back to the conditions in which your body can genuinely rebalance.
This is not alternative medicine. It is complementary medicine. It works alongside your GP, your gynaecologist and your medical team — bringing a depth of attention and personalisation that the conventional system rarely has time to provide.
What Ayurveda actually is
Ayurveda is not a wellness trend. It is not a collection of herbal supplements or a dietary philosophy. It is one of the oldest and most complete systems of health and self-knowledge in the world — a clinical tradition that has understood the relationship between nature, constitution and wellbeing for over five thousand years.
It begins with a question that modern medicine rarely has time to ask: who are you, in your most fundamental form? What is your constitution — the unique combination of energies that governs how your body functions, how you digest, how you sleep, how you respond to stress, how your hormones behave? And how does your current state differ from that baseline — what has accumulated, what has been depleted, what has gone out of rhythm?
From this foundation, everything follows. The food that genuinely nourishes you. The rhythm that sustains you. The herbs that support your specific imbalances. The practices that restore what has been lost.
Ayurveda does not treat symptoms. It restores the conditions in which the body heals itself.
What we can work with together
My Ayurvedic practice centres entirely on women's health — the full arc of the female body across its seasons and thresholds.
Menstrual health
Painful, irregular, absent or heavy periods. PMS. PCOS. Adenomyosis. Endometriosis. The menstrual cycle as a monthly map of your health — and what it is currently trying to tell you. We blend in the work of the archetypal energies and the supportive feminine rituals.
Fertility and conception
Preparing the body and womb for pregnancy. Supporting alongside IVF and assisted reproduction. Navigating unexplained fertility challenges. Understanding the Ayurvedic perspective on what creates the conditions for new life.
Pregnancy Trimester-specific Ayurvedic support alongside your midwifery care.
Nourishment, daily rhythm, nervous system preparation and building Ojas — the vital essence that sustains both mother and baby — across the full arc of pregnancy.
Postpartum recovery
The hormonal reorganisation, the tissue depletion, the nervous system recalibration that follows birth. Ayurvedic postpartum support addresses recovery at the root — not just the surface symptoms of exhaustion and depletion.
Perimenopause and menopause
Hormonal shifts, sleep disruption, hot flushes, emotional volatility, joint dryness, brain fog. Ayurveda understands perimenopause not as a decline but as a transition — and offers specific, effective support for navigating it with grace.
Burnout and chronic fatigue
The particular depletion that lives in the body rather than just the mind. When exhaustion has become a baseline rather than a temporary state. When the nervous system has been running on cortisol for so long it has forgotten what genuine rest feels like.
Hormonal imbalance at any life stage
Not every hormonal disruption fits neatly into a category. Sometimes it is simply a body that has been pushed too hard for too long — and needs someone to help it find its way back.
My background in psychology runs through all of this work. In Ayurveda, the body and the mind are not separate systems. What we do not process emotionally lives in the tissues physically — and the most effective clinical work holds both simultaneously.

Background in psychology — informing how I understand the relationship between body, mind and emotional history
I have been working clinically with women since 2017 — in a practice in Amsterdam West, at Delight Yoga and Academy and in the 1:1 online work that now forms the heart of what I do since Covid.
I work in English and Italian. All consultations and programs are available online — accessible from Amsterdam, across the Netherlands and internationally.
Two ways to access Ayurvedic support
Depending on where you are and what you need, there are two distinct ways to work with me:
The Women's Health Rebalancing Program
A 6-month 1:1 Ayurvedic journey — structured, supported and deeply transformative
For the woman who is ready to go all the way. Six months of monthly sessions, a progressive personalised workbook delivered module by module, WhatsApp support between sessions and a pathway tailored specifically to your life stage — cycle, fertility, pregnancy or perimenopause.
This is not a protocol to follow independently. It is a living, responsive, accompanied process of genuinely understanding your body and rebuilding the conditions in which balance returns — with me beside you every step of the way.
From €552 — Green Bottle pricing available

Ayurvedic Clinical Consultation
A thorough Ayurvedic assessment and personalised written protocol — one session
For the woman who wants clarity without a six-month commitment. A 75-minute deep-dive assessment of your constitution and current imbalance, followed by a written protocol covering nutrition, lifestyle, daily rhythm practices and herbal recommendations — designed entirely around you.
One session. A clear picture. A concrete plan to work with independently.

When the work goes deeper
For some women, the healing that is asking to happen lives below the level of what Ayurveda addresses — below the hormones, the digestion, the daily rhythm. It lives in the body's held grief, its unprocessed experiences, its ancestral patterns. The layer that other modalities have circled but not quite reached.
The Inner Womb Method is a distinct and separate body of work — not a sub-category of Ayurveda but a different kind of practice entirely, working at the intersection of somatic, psychological and ancestral healing. It has its own page, its own identity and its own audience.
If something in you recognises this description — that is usually the right signal for you to feel into this process.

Not sure where to begin?
A simple guide:
If you have a specific health concern — a painful cycle, fertility challenges, perimenopause symptoms, postpartum depletion — and you want a clear Ayurvedic picture and a plan to work with, begin with the Clinical Consultation.
If you are ready to commit to six months of genuine, supported rebalancing — with sessions, a workbook and ongoing accompaniment — the Women's Health Rebalancing Program is right for you.
If you sense that something deeper is asking for attention — something that lives in the body at a deeper layer — the Inner Womb Method may be what you are looking for.
If you are still unsure — the alignment call is free. Thirty minutes, no commitment, and by the end of it we will usually know together which direction makes sense.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Ayurvedic support safe alongside conventional medical treatment? Yes — Ayurveda is complementary, not alternative. I work alongside your GP, gynaecologist, fertility specialist or midwife. If you have a diagnosed condition or are taking medication, please mention this in the alignment call so I can ensure recommendations are appropriate and safe.
Can I start with a Clinical Consultation and then move into the program? Yes — and many women do. If you enrol in the Women's Health Rebalancing Program within 30 days of a Clinical Consultation, the consultation fee of €150 is deducted from your program investment.
Is this available if I am not based in Amsterdam? Yes — all consultations and the program are fully online. I work with women across the Netherlands, Europe and internationally.
How quickly will I notice changes? Ayurveda works gradually and cumulatively — not dramatically or overnight. Most women notice meaningful shifts within the first 4–6 weeks of consistent practice. The deeper hormonal rebalancing that comes from sustained work takes longer — which is why the six-month program produces the most profound results.
What language are sessions held in? English or Italian — your choice.
Your body has been speaking. Perhaps for a long time.
This is the space to begin listening — with the guidance of a system that has understood the female body for thousands of years, and a practitioner who will take the time to truly understand yours.
